One of the daughters of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state has tested positive for COVID-19.
The governor made this known in a tweet on Friday, June 26.
Okowa said he and his family would observe compulsory 14 days isolation.
Governor Okowa said he and his family would go into isolation for 14 days in line with the laid down procedures of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), adding that the public would be updated about the development.
He tweeted: “Earlier today, Edith and I received the news that one of our daughters has tested positive for #COVID19. Hence, in-line with the laid out procedures, we are both going into isolation for the next 14-days. We will continue to keep you all updated.”
