After his meeting with service chiefs, President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, August 11, appointed Adamu Adaji as the director-general of the National Boundary Commission (NBC). According to a statement signed by the Secretary to Government of the Federation (SGF) Boss Mustapha, Adaji’s appointment took effect from Friday, August 7. The NBC’s head of information, Ovuakporie Efe, disclosed that the appointment will last a duration of four years. President Muhammadu Buhari.

Meanwhile, President Buhari had approved the appointment of Senator Gbenga Ashafa as the Managing Director of the Federal Housing Authority. This was disclosed by Gawat Jubril, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Sanwo-Olu on New Media, via Twitter on Wednesday, August 5. Jubril noted that the appointment was with immediate effect.
Also, President Buhari appointed former Kano lawmaker Abdulmumin Jibrin as the new Executive Director of Federal Housing Authority (Business Development in charge of Commercial, Corporate and Social Housing). This was revealed in a tweet by Salihu Yakasai, a media aide to Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state on Wednesday, August 5. Yakasai said Governor Ganduje congratulated Jibrin on the new appointment and also thanked President Buhari for finding the former lawmaker worthy of the position.
